I am an artist and certified New York State Visual Art teacher and I love to share my love of art with students of all ages. I believe that every child is unique and I like to adapt what I am teaching to the interests and needs of my students. Specialties are drawing from observation, printmaking, painting, sculpture and fiber arts. And I especially love to work on collaborative art projects!

I have taught in NYC and have spent the last 2 years teaching at an international school in Shanghai China. The experience has enriched my global worldview beyond words and has deepened my teaching practice. Most of my students are English language learners and I gained valuable experience using the visual and expressive power of art to communicate through language and cultural barriers.
